Adam (meaning the land, people, or brown) or the Prophet Adam as the first man, along with his wife, Eve. They are the parents of all human beings in the world.

creation of Adam

After Allah SWT. created the earth, the heavens, and the angels, God willed to create other creatures that would later are believed to inhabit, filling, as well as care for the earth where he lives. When God told the angels of His will to create human beings, they are concerned about the creature will protest against his conditions and do mischief on earth. The angels said to God:

"Why do you want to make (caliph) on earth was the person who will make mischief therein and shed blood, while we always exalt with the praise you and purify you?" (Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 30)

God then says to dispel doubts his angels:

"Behold, I know what you do not know." (Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 30)

Then Adam was created by God out of a lump of land. Once perfected form, then ditiupkanlah spirit into it so he can move on and become a perfect man. Initially Adam a.s. placed in paradise, but exposed lies of the devil is then lowered into the earth with his wife for denying the provision of God.

Adam descended on earth not because it ignores provisions, but from the moment will be created, Allah has appointed Adam as a vicegerent on earth. so although it does not violate the provisions of (Allah) adam will remain relegated to Earth as the first Caliph.

Adam is the prophet and also the first man who holds the caliph of God is glorified and exalted rank. He was sent to warn his grandchildren to worship God. Among his many grandchildren, there are devout and some are defiant.

Vanity devil (Satan)

When all the creatures of the heavenly host prostrate behold the majesty of God, only the devil (Satan) defiant and reluctant to obey God's command because he felt he is more noble, more mainstream, and more glorious than Adam. That's because the devil was created from the element of fire, while Adam is just off the ground and mud. Pride origins make it arrogant and reluctant to bow in honor of Adam like the other heavenly beings.

Caused by the arrogance that, then God punish demons expelled from heaven and get it out of line with the angels curse and damnation that will be attached to him until doomsday future. Besides that, he has secured as inhabitants of hell is eternal.

Satan proudly accept the punishment and he was just asking him to be given eternal life until doomsday. Allah allowed his appeal. Without saying thanks and gratitude for the gift that guarantee, the devil actually threatened to mislead Adam so that he expelled from Paradise. He also vowed to persuade grandchildren from all directions to leave the straight path and take the wrong path with him. Allah then says that Satan will not be able to mislead His servants who believe wholeheartedly.

knowledge Adam

God wants to eliminate the stigma of the angels against Adam and convince them of the truth of His wisdom that says Adam as ruler of the earth, then diajarkanlah Adam the names of objects in the universe which are then exhibited in the presence of the angels. The angels are not able to answer God's word to name the objects that are in front of them and acknowledge their inability to say they do not know anything except what He taught.

Adam then commanded by God to tell the names of the objects to the angels, and having been told by Adam, God said to them that it is only he who knows the secrets of heaven and earth and knows all things visible and invisible.

Adam inhabit heaven

Adam was given the place of God in heaven and created Eve to accompany him, to be a friend of life, eliminating loneliness and complementary nature to produce offspring. According to the story of the scholars, Eve were created by God from one of Adam's ribs left when he was sleeping so that when he woke up, Eve was at his side. God said to Adam:

"O Adam, live in by you and your wife this heaven, and ate his foods are much more well anywhere you like, and do not approach this tree, which caused you including those who do wrong." (Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 35)

The cunning of Satan

In accordance with the threats uttered when expelled by God from heaven as a result of its defiance, devil began designing scenarios to mislead Adam and Eve lived happily in heaven serene and peaceful.

Persuasion rayunya started when he told them that he was their friend who wanted to give advice and instructions for their kindness and happiness. All means and delicate words used by the devil to make Adam and Eve persuaded. He whispered to them that the prohibition of God to them to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree is because they will live eternally as an angel when to eat it. Persuasion was continuously given to Adam and Eve that they finally persuaded and eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. Be they violate the provisions of Allah so that He lowered them to the ground. Allah says:

"Get thee down! In a proportion of you an enemy to others, and for you dwelling place on earth, and the pleasures of life until the appointed time." (Q.S. Al-Baqarah [2]: 36)

Hearing the word of God, Adam and Eve realized that they had been seduced by seduction demon so therefore got a great sin. After their repentance be accepted, Allah says:

"Get thee down from heaven it! Then, if the user comes unto Me, then whoever follows My guidance, surely there is no concern over them and not (also) they grieve."

Location Adam and Eve down to earth

Come down to earth and they both learn the new way of life that is different from the situation of living in paradise. They should take life while with various ups and downs while continuing to produce offspring that are multi-faceted.

In the book ad-Durrul Mantsur, mentioned "So we said, 'Come down you ...", from Ibn Abbas, that: Adam, Eve, Satan and the serpent. Then they come down to earth in an area named "Dujjana", which is located between Mecca and Ta'if. Some think Adam fell in Shafa, while Eve at Marwah. It has been mentioned from Ibn Abbas also that Adam down on Indian soil.

Narrated Ibn Sa'ad and Ibn'Asakir from Ibn Abbas, he said, Adam descended in India, while Eve in Jeddah. Adam then went in search of Eve so he went Jam'an (ie Muzdalifah or al-Masy'ar). Then followed (izdalafat) by Eve. Therefore, the place called Muzdalifah.

Also narrated by Thabrani and Nua'im in the book al-Hilyah, and Ibn'Asakir of Abu Hurairah, he recalled, the Messenger of Allah said: "Adam fell in India."

While Ibn'Asakir mention when Adam down to earth, he fell in India.

In the history of Abdullah bin Umar Thabrani mentioned:

"When Allah sent down Adam, He was down on Indian soil. Then he went to Mecca, to then go towards Sham (Syria) and died there." (HR. Thabrani)

Narrations of the global mentioned that Adam down to earth, he fell in India (Peninsula Syrindib, Ceylan) on a mountain named Baudza. In the book Rihlahnya, Ibn Batuthah said: "From up on this peninsula, my intention is not another, except to visit al-qadam al-Karimah. Adam comes when they are in the middle of the peninsula Ceylan".

Shaykh Abu Abdullah bin Khafif said: "He is the man who first opened the way to visit al-qadam."

Location Tomb of Adam

While Adam's own tomb some say is located in Mount Abu Qubais. There is also a saying in Baudza mountain, the ground where he first fell to earth. And there is also the opinion, after the hurricanes, Noah repeated his funeral in Baitul Maqdis.

And we menarjih what was narrated Thabrani, Ibn al-Athir, and al-Ya'qubi, that Adam after Allah give mercy to him, carried by the Angel Gabriel to the Jabal Arafat. There Jibril taught the rituals of Hajj. He died and was buried at the edge of the Jabal Abu Qubais.
