Job was a prophet very patient, can even be said that he was at the peak of patience. Job became a symbol of patience and patience mirror or exemplary patience. When the demon despair of disturbing the Prophet Job, he said to God: "Ya Rabbi, thy servant Job was worship Thee and sanctify thy however, he adore Thee not for love, but she adore Thee as the interests particular. he adore thee reply to you because you have given him wealth and children, and thou hast given him wealth and glory. Actually, he wanted to keep his property, his wealth and his children. it is as if the various favors that You bestow on it is a secret in worship. He was afraid of what he has will perish and be destroyed. Therefore, worship filled with passion and fear. So, in which a mixture of fear and greed, rather than pure worship because of love. "


History said that Allah said to the devil: "Indeed, Job was a servant of the believer and the true faith. Ayub be exemplary in faith and patience. I'm letting you to test it in a fortune. Do whatever you want, then look at the results of what you do it."


Finally, the devil went and came to the land of the Prophet Job and various plant and its enjoyment. Then the demon was destroying everything. The state of the Prophet Ayub was changed from peak to peak wealth of indigence. Then the devil waiting to see what action the Prophet Job. Prophet Ayub said: "Oh calamity from Allah SWT. I have to give him the mandate on the side of us where he is currently taking it. Allah has given us a favor for some time. So all praise be to Allah for all the blessings that it gives, and He took from us this day favors it. For him praise as giver and taker. I'm in a state of pleasure with the decision of Allah. He is the one who brings benefit and harm. He was the one who accepts it and he who wrath. He is the Ruler. He gives the kingdom to anyone who in his desire, and revoke the kingdom from whom He wills, He glorifies whom He wills and humiliate whom He wills. " Then the Prophet Ayub prostration and the devil seemed astonished at the sight.


Then the devil back to God and said: "O Allah, if Job did not receive favors except to say praise, and did not get a calamity except get patience then it as a form of business because he had children. He expects to through their wealth increases and through them he can live an easier life. " History says that Allah allows for a demon to do anything to the children of Job. Then the devil shake the house in which the children live so they were all killed. In such circumstances, the Prophet Job dialogue to the Lord and called: "God gives and God takes. So for Him praise when He gives and takes, when He was angry and pleasure, as He brings benefits and disadvantages. Then Job was prostrate and the devil again -lagi looked stunned and embarrassed. "


The devil went back to Allah and said that Job can be patient for a healthy body. Suppose you give me power, ya Rabbi, to disrupt the body surely he would quit his patience. The woman said: "Why do not you pray to God that He removes temptation from you and heal you and eliminate kesedihannmu?" Prophet Ayub said: "How long will we be happy?" His wife replied: "Eight years." Job said: "How long have we got suffering?" His wife replied: "Seven years." Job said: "I am embarrassed when I asked God Almighty to release my pain when I see the happiness. It's faith seemed weak and decisions Allah make your heart become narrow. If I recover and return to power, surely I will beat you with one hundred times the punch of stick. Since this day, I do not eat from your food and on your drink or orders you to do an errand. Then you go away from me. "

Finally, the wife of the Prophet Ayub went to the Prophet Job lived alone in a state endures his suffering. The suffering inflicted upon the mountain if the mountain will not necessarily afford to lose. Then the Prophet Ayub prayed to God in a state of compassion and mercy ask Him. He prayed that Allah SWT heal. And finally, his prayer is granted by Allah SWT. This is the account that is popular with regard to the suffering of the Prophet Job and patience.

In our view this is false history because it corresponds to the text of the Torah that explains the pain of the Prophet Job. Likewise, we do not accept to say that the disease is very bad causing the population to flee from it, as said by the old tales. For us, such a history of conflict with the position of prophethood. We need to consider and need to be sure of is nothing that has been submitted by the Qur'an regarding the story of Prophet Job. Allah says:

Triangles of suffering in his life, namely pain, sadness, and loneliness. At the time he received such trials, one day came to him one thought demons. The thought was circling in her heart; mind told her, O Job disease and suffering that you feel because godaaan me. I wish you would stop patient in one day undoubtedly illness will disappear from you. Then the men whispered and said: If Allah loves surely he will not feel pain so intense. Such thoughts are evil. Satan is not able to interfere with a person except with the permission of Allah, as Allah did not make love to man synonymous with their health. Verily Allah SWT test them as he wishes.


Mind demon was spinning around the heart of Prophet Ayub as turning the flies in summer around the human head, but he was able to eliminate this thought and smiled to himself, he said: "Come out ye demons! Really I am not going to stop patience, gratitude, and worship . " Finally, the evil thoughts with a sense of despair out of a sense of Prophet Ayub. Prophet Ayub sat in the circumstances angry because the devil dare to disturb him. He imagined that perhaps dare devils teased by utilizing solitude, misery, and disease.


Wives of the Prophet Ayub came in a state of late and found the Prophet Job in anger. His wife covered her head with a cloth covered. Wives of the Prophet Ayub present or serve food that is good for him. Prophet Ayub asked him: "Where do you find the money?" Prophet Ayub has vowed to hit a hundred blows with a stick when he healed, but patience is extremely spacious as a large river. And in the evening, after finding halal food is served, he shall eat it. Then the Prophet Ayub out into a mountain and prayed to his Lord.


Allah says:

"And remember Our servant Job when he called on his Lord:" Behold the demon with exhaustion and torture. ' (God said): 'Hantamkanlah's feet is cool water to bathe and to drink. And We bestowed him (by collecting back) family and (we add) to them as much as they are also a mercy from Us, and a lesson for those who have thought. and take in your hand a bundle (grass), then beat with it and do not violate the oath. sesugguhnya We find him (Ayuh) a patient. he is the best of servants. Indeed, he is very obedient (hepada Lord). " (QS. Shad: 41-44)


How are we to understand the words of the Prophet Job, "I am the demon with exhaustion and torture."? Prophet Ayub wanted to complain to the Lord about courage vicious him where demons have imagined that he could bother him. Prophet Ayub did not believe that the pain is coming because of the influence of Satan.


Thus according to the understanding of the infallibility of the prophets and their perfection. Allah ordered him to take a shower in one of the springs in the mountains. Allah commanded him that he drank from this spring. Then the Prophet Ayub implement these orders and bath as well as a drink. Not long ago, he drank the last gulp that he felt healthy and fully recovered from his illness. Then the heat in his body temperature back to normal as usual. Allah gives to Job and his family and the people who like them a mercy from Him that the Prophet Ayub did not return alone. Allah gave him many times over the riches and glory of his side so that Job does not become a devotee.


Prophet Ayub regained his health after long suffering and pain; Prophet Ayub grateful to Allah SWT. He has vowed to beat his wife as much as a hundred blows with a stick when he healed. Now he is cured then Allah knows that he does not intend to hit her. But in order not to violate his promise and his oath, Allah ordered him to immediately collect a bundle of twigs of flowers Raihan totaling one hundred and let him slapped it to his wife with a single blow. Thus, he has fulfilled his vow and do not lie. Allah SWT give patience of Job and praised in the Koran as the word of his:


"Verily, We find him (Job) of a patient. He is the best of servants. Indeed, he is very obedient (to Allah)." (QS. Shad: 44)
