Da'wah Prophet Shoaib

Shoaib (Shuayb, Shuaib, Shuaib, Shu'aib) means "Who Shows the Way of Truth"

Allah sent Prophet Shoaib to residents of Madyan located in the northwestern part of the Hijaz, precisely in the area of ​​al-Bada '. Allah says, "And (We sent) to the residents of Mad-yan, their brother Shu'aib. He said:" O my people! Worship Allah, No god (gods) other than Him to you. Now hath come unto you a clear proof from your Lord. Then the full measure and weight and do not subtract for humans goods measure and scales, and do not make mischief on the earth after the Lord fix. That is better for you if really you people who believe. "" And do not sit on every road to frighten and hinder those who believe from the path of Allah, and wants to get Allah's way into crooked. And remember at the time you formerly amounted to little, then Allah multiply your number. And see the final fate of those who do mischief. "(QS. Al-Araf [7]: 85-86).

Residents Madyan are smart people trade and farming. Only they are often deceptive and cunning in to interact with others. If you buy the property of others, they ask agat dose or scales exaggeration of the size of their rights. Conversely, if it sells, they will try to cheat and reduce the scale or dosing into the rights of others.

Prophet Shoaib forbid them to do these deeds and reminds a result of the misconduct. However, they did not heed as mentioned in the Qur'an, "O our ancestors or prohibit us manage our assets in the way that we want ?. Look, you really are a very forbearing and clever." (QS. Hud [11]: 87).

Madyan resident has traveled a crooked path, associating partners with Allah, threatening the Prophet Shoaib and those who believed with torture and expulsion. It is as recorded in the Qur'an, "chieftains who boast of the Sy'uaib 'We will expel you O Shoaib and those who believe with you from our land, unless you return to our religion ". Said Shu'aib:" And if (you will expel us), although we do not like it? "(QS. Al-Araf [7]: 88).

Then Berlakulah sunatullah against those wrongdoers after they remained in iniquities, and are on the wrong path. God said, 'chieftains of his people (Shoaib) who disbelieve say (to one another): "Verily, if you follow Shoaib, of course if you do so (be) those who merugi'.Kemudian earthquake seized them , then so be their dead bodies lying in their houses, (that) those who belied Shoaib as if they had never lived in that city; those who belied Shoaib is they who are the losers. Shoaib then left them, saying: "O my people! I have delivered unto mandates of my Lord and I gave advice to you, then how am I going to grieve over the disbelieving people?" (QS. Al-Araf [7]: 90-93).

Then Allah sent Prophet Shoaib to Ashabul Thicket (residents Thicket) in the Tabuk region. Thus according to the historian's most powerful history. Allah says, "The people Thicket belied the apostles; when Shu'aib said to them:" Why did you not be cautious? Indeed, an apostle of trust (which was sent) to you. So fear Allah and obey me, "(QS. Asy-Syu'ara [26]: 176-179).

Besides this, they also have always cheating in weights and measures. Prophet Shoaib always remind them of the consequences of their actions, but they were always against it. This story is recorded in the word of God, "they say:" Surely you are one of those bewitched, and you are nothing but a mortal like us, and indeed we are sure that you are truly among those who lie , So throw on our wad from the sky, if you should be truthful. Shoaib said: "My Lord knows what you do" Then they denied Shoaib, then they are overwritten torment on the day they were shaded by clouds. Indeed, it is a torment adzab great day. Verily in this is really a sign (power of God), but most of them do not believe. And indeed, your Lord and He is the Mighty, the Merciful, "(QS. Asy-Syu'ara [26]: 185-191).

Story Summary Shoaib

Shoaib ordained by God to be a prophet who lived in the east of Mount Sinai to the people of Madyan and Thicket. Ie people who live on the coast of the Red Sea in the southeast of Mount Sinai. The society called for well-known bad behavior is dishonest in weights and measures. They worship idols named Thicket, which is a plot of desert land of trees.

Shoaib warned their actions are far from the teachings of religion, but his people ignored it. Shoaib told his people the stories of God's messengers earlier that the people of Noah, Hud, Salih and Lut closest to Madyan who have destroyed God because reluctant to follow the prophet's teachings. However, they remain reluctant. Finally, God destroyed the Madyan disaster.

When preaching to the people of Madyan, Prophet Shoaib received ridicule people who are not willing to accept his teachings because they are reluctant to leave deity passed down from ancestors to them. However, Shoaib remained patient and gracefully accept the ordeal. He never replied to their taunts and keep preaching. In fact, his message is getting stirred the heart and mind. In preaching sometimes he announced that he was actually the same blood with them. It has the goal of keeping his people want towards the path of truth. That's why he became an apostle of God sent for their own people. Prophet Shoaib who was a few followers, began to get rough jeers from the other. Some even regard it as a witch and an accomplished magician.

God inflicted doom through several stages. The Madyan were initially given a punishment of God through the hot air burns the skin and create thirst. At that time, trees and buildings is not enough to shelter them. However, God gives dark cloud for the Madyan. Madyan people went up to the cloud for shelter so they jostle below the cloud. Until all the people gathered, God sends down lightning with a loud voice on top of them. At that moment Allah inflicted earthquake for them, destroying the city and the Madyan.

Shoaib well preserved tomb in Jordan which is located 2 km west of the city of Mahis in an area called Wadi Shoaib. Another site, known as the tomb of Shoaib located near the Horns of Hattin in the Lower Galilee.
