David (David, David, Dawit) was the prophet at once king in the kingdom of Israel (Bani Israel). David was a descendant Yahudza bin Ya'qub ibn Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Khalil.
Prophet David was the father of King Solomon, and the ancestor of the Prophet Zachariah, Prophet John, and Jesus.
As a young man, David accompanies the army of Bani Israel under the leadership of the Palestinian people Thalut against forces led by Goliath (Goliath). Daudlah managed to kill Goliath, so lauded as a war hero. After King Thalut died, David succeeded him as king. God raised up David as a prophet and apostles. It is to him was revealed the book of Psalms. He has had a number of miracles, intellect, understand the language of birds, and soften the iron just using bare hands. Stature of Prophet David is not very tall, blue-eyed, bushy-haired not, be pure and clean.
He was very much loved by the people of Israel. God grant prophet David with the royal and prophetic: the good of the world and the hereafter. The royal privilege, as well as prophetic. And, both are united in David. Allah says, "Indeed, We gave David bounty from Us. (We said)," O mountains and birds glorify repeatedly with David, "and we have softened iron for him," (QS. Saba '[34]: 10).

God gave a melodious voice: a voice that was not given to anyone other than him. Thus, when he is singing the Psalms, the birds stop in the air contribute to glorify God. So also with the mountain, he answered and participate hymn with her in the morning and evening. God also gives him the ability to judge fairly between people. He was able to mediate and resolve quarrels and disputes that occur in society. It made the children of Israel more honor, respect, and glorify it.

David started the construction of the temple that is Baitul Muqaddis later completed by his son Prophet Solomon, who is now a place of Al-Aqsa Mosque. David died at the age of 100 years and was buried in the Baitul Muqaddis / Maqdis (Jerusalem).

The story of Prophet David

Gone years is long enough from the death of Moses. After Moses, the prophets came and died and the children of Israel after Moses had been lost. Their holy book had been lost, namely the Torah. When the Torah was missing from their chest so he pulled out of their hands. Their enemies to master crate agreement in which there are relics of the family of Moses and Aaron. Children of Israel were driven from their families and their homes. Their situation is extremely tragic. Prophethood has been disconnected from Lawi grandchildren, and nothing left of them except a pregnant woman who prayed to God that He gave him the boy. Then she gave birth to a boy and named it after Asymu'il which in Hebrew means Ismail. That is Allah heard my prayer.


When the boy grew older, his mother sent him to the mosque and handed it to the pious man to learn kindness and worship him. The boy was at his side. On a night-when he stepped on an adult-he slept, then he heard a voice coming from the side of the mosque. He woke up in a state of fear and thought that the sheikh or his teacher called him. He rushed to his teacher and asked: "Did you really call me?" The teacher did not want to scare him so he said: "Yes, yes." The boy was sleeping back. Then the voice again calling for a second time and a third until he woke up and saw the angel Gabriel called him: "Your Lord has sent you to your people." One day, the Children of Israel to meet this noble prophet. They asked him: "Did we not people who are persecuted?" He replied: "Yes." They said: "Did we not people who are displaced?" He replied: "Yes." They say: "Please send for us a king to gather us under one banner so that we can fight in the cause of Allah, and that we can restore our land and our glory." Their Prophet said to them and he certainly knows more than them, "Are you sure to run the war if required war on you?"


They said: "Why do we not fight in the cause of Allah whereas we have been driven from our country, and our children also were expelled and worsening our situation." Their Prophet said: "Verily Allah has sent Thalut as a ruler for you." They said: "How can he be the ruler over us while we are more entitled to get the power from it. Anyway, he was not a rich man, while among us anyone richer thereof."


Their Prophet said: "Verily Allah chose over you because he has a primacy of science and the physical side. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills." They said: "Any sign of his authority?" The Prophet replied: "The Torah deprived of your enemy will come back to you. That book will be carried by the angels and handed it to you. This is a sign of His power." The miracle actually happened where one day the law back to them.


Formation Thalut forces began. Thalut has prepared his army to fight Goliath. Goliath is someone who is mighty and great challenger in which no one was able to beat him. Thalut forces are ready. Troops walked in a long time in the middle of the desert and mountains so that they feel thirsty. Thalut king said to his troops: "We're going to see a river on the way. Those who drank it then let it be out of the army and those who do not taste it and just wetting his throat then he will be with me in the army."


Finally, they found the river and most of the soldiers drank from it and then they come out of the ranks of the army. Thalut have set up this test to find out who among those who comply and who membangkangnya; who among those who have a strong determination and able to withstand thirst and who have a weak desire and quitter.


Thalut said to himself: "Now we know the people who are cowards so nothing with me except the people who are brave." The number of troops is but the most important influence in the army is, the nature of courage and faith, not mere numbers and weapons. Then came the decisive moment for the troops Thalut. They stood in front of the enemy forces, Goliath. The number of troops but Thalut few enemy forces are numerous and powerful.


Most people who are weak of troops Thalut said: "How can we defeated the mighty?" Then the believers of Thalut troops replied: "What is important in the army is the faith and courage. How many groups are less able to defeat the many with Allah's permission." Allah says:


"Have you not seen the leaders of the Children of Israel after Moses, when they said to a prophet them: 'Appoint for us a king that we fight (under his leadership) way of Allah. The Prophet they said:' Mung-kin sehali if you are obliged to fight, you tidah will fight. ' They replied: 'Why should we not fight in Allah's way, when we actually have been driven from our homes and from our children.' Then when fighting was ordained for them, they turned away, except a few people who just between them. And Allah is Aware of those who do wrong. Their Prophet said to them: 'Allah has raised Thalut become king.' They said: 'How Thalut govern us, but we have more right mengendalihan administration thereof, while he too was not given a lot of wealth?' (Their Prophet) said: 'Allah has chosen him to be king and bestow comprehensive knowledge and body of the mighty.' God gives reign to whom He wills. And Allah Size Giving Him Knowing. And their Prophet said to them: 'Indeed the sign he would be king, was the return of the ark to you, in which there is tranquility from your Lord and the rest of the family heritage of Moses and the family of Aaron, the ark was carried by the angels. Verily in this is a sign for you if you are believers. and when Thalut out with his army, he said: 'Verily Allah will test you by a river. so who among you drink out of it, is not it follower. and whoever is not rneminumnya, except menceduk seceduk hand, he is a follower. then they drink it except a few of them. and when Thalut and those who believed with him had crossed the river , people who have been drinking said: 'there is no ability for us today against Goliath and his army.' People who believe that they will meet Allah, said: 'How many are going a little class that can defeat the group that a lot with the permission of Allah. And Allah is with those who patiently.' "(Qur'an, al-Baqarah: 246-249)


Goliath seems to bring along his armor sword. He seems to challenge someone to a duel with him. All Thalut soldiers were afraid to face him. In moments of tension, arose from a goatherders Thalut forces were small, namely David. David is a believer in Allah. He knows that faith in Allah SWT is the nature of power in this universe, and that victory is not solely determined number of weapons and the strength of the body.


David, go ahead and ask the king to allow him Thalut duel with Goliath. But on the first day the king refused the request. David was not a soldier, he was just a small goatherders. He did not rnemiliki experience in warfare. He did not have a sword, the weapon is a piece of brick that is used to expel the goat. Nevertheless, David knew that God Almighty is the ultimate source of power in this world. Because he is a believer in Allah, then he felt stronger than Goliath.


On the second day, he again asked for permission to be given the opportunity to fight Goliath. Then the king gave him permission. The king said to him: "If you dare to fight it, then you become a squad leader and will marry my daughter." David was not concerned with the lure. He just wanted to win the war and religion. He wanted to kill Goliath, a man of overbearing despot and do not believe in Allah SWT, allowing King to David's duel with Goliath.


David advanced to bring a wand and five stones and a slingshot. Goliath coated forward with weapons and armor. David and Goliath trying to mock and laugh kefakirannya sass and weaknesses. Then David put a strong rock above his slingshot, and then releasing it in the air so that the stone was rolled out loud. The wind became a friend of David because he loved to Allah so that the wind that brought it toward Goliath's forehead. Stone killed her. Goliath is equipped with complete weapon that fell to the ground and died.


David, a good shepherd, took his sword. And berkecamuklah battle between the two forces. Battle began when its leader was killed and a sense of fear came upon all of its troops, while another force headed by a goatherders simple.

Allah says:

"When they looked by Goliath and his forces, they prayed:" Our Lord, pour patience upon us, and make our steps firm against the unbelievers. ' They (soldiers Thalut) beat tentarajalut with the permission of Allah gave him (David) governance and wisdom, (after the death of Thalut) and taught him what He wills. If God does not reject (malignancy) some people with some others, certainly corrupted the earth this. But God has the gift (poured) over the universe. " (QS. Al-Baqarah: 250-251)

After David slew Goliath, he reached the peak of fame in the midst of his people so that he became a man of the most famous among the Children of Israel. He became a squad leader and husband of the king's daughter. But David was not so happy with all of this. He does not aim to achieve fame or position or honor, but he was trying to reach the love of Allah. David was given a voice so beautiful and amazing. David glorify Allah and glorify Him with the sound of interesting and awe-inspiring. Therefore, after defeating Goliath, David was hiding. He went to the desert and mountains. He felt peace in the midst of other creatures. At the time of exile, he repent to Allah SWT.

Allah says:

"And verily We gave David bounty Us. (We said): 'O mountains, and birds, glorify repeatedly with David', and we have melu-nakkan iron to it. (It is) make armor big and measure the basket; and serve pious deeds. Behold, I see what you do. " (QS. Saba ': 10-11)


"And We subjected the mountains and birds, all exalt with David, and we who do that. And We taught him the making of armor to you, to protect you in battle is; then you shall give thanks (to Allah). " (QS. Al-Anbiya ': 79-80)


When David sat down, then he glorify Allah and glorify Him. Allah chose David as a prophet and give him the Book of Psalms. Allah says:

"And We gave the Book of the Psalms to David." (QS. Al-Isra ': 55)


Zabur is a holy book like the Torah. David read the book and glorify Allah SWT. When he exalt, mountains also hymn, and the birds were gathered with him.

Allah says:
"And remember Our servant, David, who has the power; in fact he is very obedient (to God). Lo! We subdued the mountains to glorify with him (David) in the morning and evening, and (We subjected anyway) birds in a state collected . each of much devotion to God. and We strengthened his kingdom and We gave wisdom and discretion in menyeksaikan disputes. " (QS. Shad: 17-20)

The desert stretches to reach the horizon. It is a day of fasting of David. Prophet David fasted one day and break the fast on other days. This is called the Shiam ad-Dahr. David read the Book of Psalms and ponder the verses. Mountains glorify him. Mount enhance reading of the verse, and sometimes he was silent while the mountain was enhance his beads. Not only mountains that exalt with him, the birds, too hymn. One day, he was brooding and listening to the birds babble dialogue with one another. Then he understood what was being said birds. Allah placed the light in his heart so that he understands the language of birds and the language of other animals. David was loved animals and birds. He prostrate to the animals, he even care when animals are sick so that birds and other animals loved him. In addition to the ability to understand the language of birds, Allah also gave him wisdom (science). When David gain knowledge of Allah or when he gets a miracle then bertambahlah his love for God and also increase syukumya sense to him, as well as increasing its worship. Therefore, he fasted one day and break the fast on other days. Allah loves David and gave him a mighty empire. And the problems faced by his people is, many wars in their day. Therefore, the manufacture of armor is very important. The armor is made by experts so severe that a war is not easy to move freely while wearing the armor.


One day, the Prophet David sat musing on the problem, and in front of him there are pieces of iron that he play-play. Suddenly, he knew that his hands could make it malleable iron. Allah indeed has softened iron for David. Then David dissect it and shaping it into small pieces and attach portion on the other, so he is able to make armor is new, the armor formed from rings of iron which if used by someone who fought then he would be free to moving and his body remains protected from swords and axes. The armor was better than all the armor that existed at that time.


Allah soften her armor. Namely, the Prophet David was the one who first discovered that iron can be melted by the fire and it can be formed into a thousand fine. We are satisfied with the interpretation of this kind. Prophet David was grateful to Allah SWT. Then many factories stand to make a new armor. When completed the manufacture of the armor given to his troops and then the enemies of David knew that the sword they will not be able to penetrate the armor. The armor worn by the enemy it was very heavy and can be pierced by a sword. The armor they wear does not make them move freely and not be able to protect them while fighting, is not the case with armor made by David. Every war followed by David's army so he always gets the victory; each time he enters the battle scene so he tasted victory. He knew that this victory solely because Allah so that the arrival of gratitude to him growing and rosary that he did is increasing as well as the love of Allah became more turbulent.


When Allah loves a prophet or a servant of the servants of Him then He made people love him. Humans love the Prophet David as birds, animals, mountains and loved him. King saw things so that then arises jealousy in him. He began to try to hurt the Prophet David and kill him. He prepared an army to kill David. David knew that the king jealous of her. Therefore, he did not fight against the king, but what did he do? He took the sword of the king as he slept and then he cut off part of her clothing with the sword. Then he woke the king and said to him: "O king, you were planning to kill me, but I do not hate and do not want to kill you. If I wanted to kill you I did while you sleep. It's your shirt has been cut off. I had to cut it when you sleep. I could cut your throat instead of cutting the shirt, but I did not. I do not like to hurt someone else. the teachings that I brought just shows the love and compassion, not hatred. the king realized that he was wrong and he apologized to David . "


Then to pass, day after day, and the king was killed in a war that is not followed by the Prophet David, because the king was jealous of him and refused his help. After that, the Prophet David king. Society at that time know that David did anything for the good and happiness of them so that they are willing to make a king for them. So David became prophets sent by Allah as well as a king. It has increased the power of gratitude to God and worship Him improve and encourage him to further improve the kindness and sympathize poor people as well as safeguarding the interests of the general public.


Allah strengthen David's kingdom. God always makes it prevail against his enemies. He made his kingdom very large so feared by its enemies though not in battle. God increases His blessings to David in the form given him wisdom. In addition to giving the prophetic to David, Allah gives wisdom and the ability to distinguish truth from falsehood. Prophet David has a son named Solomon. Solomon was a smart kid and wit it looked since his childhood. Sulaiman reached eleven years of age when there was this story. Allah says:


"And (remember) David and Solomon, at the time both memberihan decision on the plant, because the plant was destroyed by the goats belonged to his people. And are we witnessing a decision rendered by them that, then we have to give understanding to Solomon about the law ( more precise); and to each of them We gave wisdom and knowledge. "(QS. al-Anbiya ': 78-79)


As usual, David sat down and hold that the law gives to human decisions and resolve their problems. A man came to her garden owners accompanied by another man. The owner of the vineyard said to him: "My lord, O Prophet, indeed male goat coming into my garden and eat all the grapes in it. I came to you so that you become a judge for us. And I demand compensation."


David said to the goat owners: "Is it true that goats eat the garden this man?" Goat owners said: "Yes, O my lord."
David said: "I have decided to give the goats instead of what has been destroyed by goats." Solomon says: "Allah has given wisdom in addition to the knowledge inherited from her father I have another law, O my father."
David said: "Say, O Solomon." Solomon says: "I decided that the owner of the goats take garden this man whose fruits have been eaten by a goat. Then let him fix it and grow in it so that the tree-lined new wine. And I decided that the owner of the vineyard taking his goat so he could benefit from his fur and milk and eat from it. If the vine has been great and the gardens are not damaged or returned to normal, then the owner of the vineyard can take back his garden and so was the goat owners can take the goat. "
David said: "This is a great decision, O Solomon. Praise be to Allah who has given you this wisdom. You are Sulaiman truly wise." Prophet David-despite its proximity to God and love Him-always learn to Allah SWT. Allah has taught him so he would not decide a matter until after he had heard both sides in the conflict.


One day the Prophet David sat in the mihrab in which he pray and worship. When he entered his room, he ordered guards to not allow someone went in to see him or bother him as he prayed. Suddenly, he was surprised when he saw two men standing in front of him.


David was afraid of them both because they dare to enter, and he had ordered that no one enters him. David asked them, "Who are you two?" One man said: "Do not be afraid, O my lord, I and this man disagreed. We came to you so that you decide the right way." David asks: "What's the problem?" The man who first said: "This brother has ninety-nine-goat, while I only have one. He had taken it from me." He said: "Give me, then he took it away from me." David said without hearing the opinion or argument from the other party: 'Sesungguknya she has wrongs to you with a request to be added to the goat goats. And indeed, from most people associate the majority of their wrongs to others, except those who believe. '


David was surprised when suddenly two men disappeared from her presence. The two men were hiding like a cloud that evaporates in the air. Finally, David knew that the two men are angels sent by God to him to give him a lesson: he should not take a legal decision between two people who differ except after heard them all. Perhaps the owner of ninety nine goats were correct. David bow and prostrate, and bowing to Allah and ask His forgiveness. Allah says:


"And sampaikah you the news of the litigants when they climbed over the fence? When they entered (see) David, and he was surprised with (the arrival of) them. They said: 'Do not be afraid, (we) are two litigants wrong one of our wrongs to others; then give a decision between us with justice and do not deviate from the truth and Guide us to the straight path. Indeed, my brother has ninety-nine female goats and I have a course. then he said: : 'Give up a goat to me and he beat me in the debate.' David said: 'Surely he has wrongs you by asking for goats to be added to the goat. And indeed from most people associate the majority of their wrongs to others, except those who believe and do good works; and sedikitlah so they have ". And David knew that we tested; he asks. God's forgiveness and then fall down prostrate and repented. So We forgive him his mistake. And indeed he has a position close to Us, and a fine return. "(QS. Shad: 21-25)


Many fairy tale or a lie that delivered the Jews about the temptations experienced by David. It is said that he is interested in the wife of one of the leaders of his force and he sent the leader in a war where he knows what happened to him. Then David mastered his wife.


It is a falsehood fabricated. Humans whose heart is associated with the highest star in the sky and rosary beads associated with living creatures and inanimate objects, it is impossible for him to just look or attracted by the beauty or the beauty of a woman's face or physique. Someone who saw the peak of beauty in nature and deal with them directly and subdue it with beads it is impossible for him to submit to the sexual instinct. David was a servant of God and he may not be a servant of instinct, as proposed by the false story Children of Israel.


Prophet David returned to worship Allah and glorify Him and chanting chanting love him until the end. Prophet David fasted a day and break their day. In connection with that, the Messenger of Allah said: "The best of fasting is the fast of David. He fasted a day and break one day. He read the Psalms with seventy voice; he was praying in the middle of the night and cry in it, and for crying everything also wept, and his voice could heal the restless and those who suffer. " Prophet David died suddenly as stated by various history.


The sun disrupt human and bird calling Solomon and said: "Naungilah David." Then the bird shelter.
Sulaiman said the cloud: "Naungilah humans from the sun. ' And the wind calmed down. It's the first time people witnessed the power of Solomon.
